Master Suite Creation

Struggling with a narrow and poorly-designed master bath, the homeowners sought help to reconfigure their master suite by altering the upstairs layout and reclaiming unused space from two small, front bedrooms. Concierge Home Solutions, along with their consulting structural engineer and architect, created a new floor plan that allowed for a luxurious master bath with heated floors and a spacious walk-in closet, and created a cozy in-home retreat. To meet the needs of the homeowner, the team custom designed several elements, including the vanity, linen tower and mirror with inset lighting. Careful demolition allowed the team to recycle an original slate mantle and surround from one of the front bedrooms for use in the master suite as a distinct focal point of the room. The walk-in closet was professionally appointed with a dressing island, shoe tower, drawers and double-hanging rods. New windows with custom shutters and meticulous restoration of the original brass and glass door knobs completed this transformation.
